In Switzerland, the traditional health service, other than the usual medical services, is organized and controlled by the different cantons of the country.
The canton Basellandschaft in the north-western part of Switzerland has a long tradition in naturopathy. Names like Amsler, Rentsch, Rickenbacher, Riedweg, Schneider, Schönenberger oder Zengerli are still wellknown
to many patients.
In the 50ties the profession of Natural Healer / Naturopath has been legalized by law, accepted in votation by the people of the canton. Every Naturopath has to pass an exam in front of cantonal
authorities. Therefore it is granted that the knowledge of this "soft medicine" will remain on high level and of the best possible qualitiy. By the way of quality control the knowledge of naturopathy
passes from one generation onto the next.
As a certified and approved naturopath I have been practicing since 1981. I only offer the methods of traditional naturopathic medicine by experience.
